Boulder Fields in Kelowna

This is a part of my two-week climbing trip. You can find other blog posts from this trip.

Our climbing trip was almost at the end. Our final stop was Boulderfields in Kelowna. I did not know this area until this time. Naoyuki was more into bouldering that time and he knew the area and had friends who can climb with us.

This area is big. I highly recommend to get a topo book; Okanagan Bouldering.

I did not buy the book, because Nao’s friends had one and a kind staff at Gneiss Climbing gym borrowed his book to us!

I wanted to write down some guide in here, but I did not recorded our climbing. Also I did not buy the topo book. Therefore, I will just put photos here.

We went to see some of the closet area first. F1 boulders, that was our first area. Many variations in this area. There were easy ones to high quality harder problems. Then, we went back to the parking for lunch and to meet up with Naoyuki’s friends.

We followed the friends in the afternoon.

I believe that we went to Cave Deweller area in the afternoon. It was really fun.
