Kicking horse mountain Resort is the closest ski resort to the Canadian Rockies in BC. It still has BC like mountains and snow, but it feels more like being in the Rockies. This resort is in Golden, BC. It is 150km east of Revelstoke and the last town before Alberta.

The bottom elevation is 1300m and the top of a gondola is 2300m. It runs from the bottom to the top. The whole resort is in higher elevation, so the snow stays good with the Rockies like weather. The average winter temperature is -10℃ in Golden. It is pretty chilly!

It was snowing so much through out the day, so we stayed inside ski area boundary. We enjoyed lots of skiing rather that taking photos.

It was cold for sure. The snow kept coming in the afternoon, and my car was topped with cold snow when I came back to the parking.

I stayed my friend place that night, and almost got stuck in his property!

my life in Golden

I love living in a trailer. It makes my life simple.
