One of the best runs I had in Cayoosh Pass. It is The big esposito. This line is located at the north of Cayoosh mountain.

We started hiking at 5:00 to reach to the top of run before noon. Our mission on this trip was to take photos of skiers on the big esposito. Not just some photos, but awesome photos!!

The weather did not look good as we hiked, so we stopped at where we could see the face. We stopped at the bottom of the face at 8:15, and waited about an hour. Then the sky gradually became clear, and we decided to go by 9:00.

This flat top peak is the top of our run. It is along the north ridge of Cayoosh mountain. Cayoosh peak is in cloud in the photo.

From this location, I separated from others to take photos from the other side.

I watched them going up the face. It looked gnarly from my location.

By 12:00, Two reached to the top and another remained on slope to start from middle. Then, cloud covered the sky, and our situation was not good. It would be fine if we wanted just to ski, but we wanted awesome photos!!

So we waited about 30 minutes, then a window of blue sky came to the face.
By 12:40, they started skiing one by one.

It was great watching them skiing the big face. I told myself that I have to ride it as well while taking photos

The last one skied the face was a telemarker, Jundai Nakashio. He telemarked all the way down!!

They all skied super well and came back safe.

We met up at the same spot as I went separate. It was 13:40. The sun is out, and the sky is blue. Could have had better light if we waited more, but who knows! It is always hard to predict the weather, but I really liked the images.
The cloud shadows gave images more dramas.
Came back to the parking at 15:00. It was an awesome day!
